DEPARTMENT OF PHYSIOTHERAPY HELD A FIELD VISIT TO NEIGHBORHOODS IN VARIOUS AREAS AT ERBIL CITY

On 10 April 2022, the Department of Physiotherapy held a field visit to neighborhoods in various areas of Erbil city involving second-year and fourth-year students who participated in an awareness campaign to educate people about the importance of the correct sitting method and its impact on the health of the spine and muscle.

             The campaign aimed to raise awareness about the importance of the correct sitting method and its impact on the health of the spine. The students simplified explanations to people about how to sit properly while reading and working and its impact on the health and safety of the spine and muscle.

                       It is worthy to mention that monitoring health regularly has a direct effect on individuals’ health and improving their lifestyle. Such field visit is beneficial for students to deal with different health conditions in the future.
