Department of Public Administration Students Conduct Scientific Visit to Kurdistan Parliament

On Tuesday, October 20, 2026, a group of third-year students from the Department of Public Administration at Cihan University–Erbil conducted a scientific visit to the Kurdistan Parliament in Erbil under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Raz Azad Jalal.

Upon arrival, the delegation was received by Mr. Faryad Samic Saber, a staff member of the Department of Public Relations and Protocol, who introduced the students to the parliament’s key departments and administrative procedures.

During the visit, the students gained practical insights into legislative governance and public sector protocols. They toured key administrative and legislative facilities, including the Main Assembly Hall, where parliamentary sessions and decision-making take place, and the Kurdistan Parliament General Library.

As part of its support for the students’ academic development, the General Library presented them with several specialized books as gifts. At the conclusion of the visit, the students expressed their sincere gratitude to Mr. Faryad Samic Saber and the parliament staff for their warm hospitality and the valuable knowledge they had shared.
