Dijlah TV Hosted a Student from the Department of Informatics and Software Engineering to Talk about Confronting Bullying and Promoting Peace
On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, Dijlah TV hosted Mohammed Karim Jassim, a fourth-year student from the Department of Informatics and Software Engineering. During the ‘Sabah Dijlah’ program, he discussed his success story in building a volunteer team consisting of 100 young men and women in Iraq to confront bullying and violence within an educational environment. He also discussed organizing training courses dedicated to spreading the culture of peace and tolerance among students.
He praised the collective efforts of his volunteer team, stressing that teamwork is the main key to achieving positive change in society. He also highlighted his active participation in the Young Leaders Program – Fifth Generation, which lasted for a year and a half, where he received advanced training in project management, politics, and equality.
He is considered an example of a promising Iraqi youth, who reflects his passion and determination to make a real change in his community through volunteer work and youth leadership.
