Cihan University-Erbil signed an agreement with Huawei Company
Cihan University-Erbil signed a delivery technology agreement with Huawei Company to maintain the relationship, collaborate on projects, and share experiences.
On Wednesday (30/11/2022), Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Dalawi, president of Cihan University Erbil, attended by Dr. Abdulsatar Karim, assistant university president for administrative affairs and students, leading a delegation of air companies in Iraq led by Dr. Rafid Al-Fakhaji.
In a meeting, the president of Cihan University Erbil welcomed the guest delegation, then presented a summary of the Cihan Foundation for Education and Higher Education in general and Cihan University Erbil in particular. He talked about how Cihan University Erbil developed and the scientific achievements he has achieved throughout his life in the field of education, science, and the development of students. Cihan University Erbil has been able to gain accreditation from the International Academic Foundation for education programs at famous German and British academic institutions (ASIC & Zeva). According to Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Dalawi, Cihan University-Erbil has achieved first-class scientists at the level of public and private universities in Iraq, Kurdistan Region, and among Arab universities according to the latest World Scientist and University Ranking-AD Scientific Index. Regarding technology professor, Dr. Amjad Saber Dalawi said: Cihan University Erbil is open to the Huawei company to implement any ideas and practice different projects, as Cihan University Erbil wants to continue in the field of technology with modern developments.
In return, Dr. Rafid Al-Fakhaji, head of the Huawei Company delegation in Iraq, expressed his pleasure at the scientific development of Cihan University Erbil and reviewed the history of Huawei Company from 1988 until now. He then talked about the role of technology in managing the work and running the affairs of citizens, and pointed to the broad relationship they have at the level of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region with different ministries and institutions, and hoped through the agreement with the university. Cihan University Erbil is making their scientific relations more developed and being able to cooperate to enhance a generation’s awareness of information technology.
Later in a ceremony, professor Dr. Amjad Saber Dalawi, president of Cihan University Erbil, and Dr. Rafid al-Fakhaji, head of the Iraqi Huawei company delegation, signed a joint agreement.
As stated in the agreement, Huawei works for training programs and at the university through online references to the Huawei Company and HINA Permitted Network program, as well as to promote the university’s role as an academic part. Huawei’s ICT Education Mia, and the introduction of Huawei educational programs to students according to university capabilities, are also inviting The Huawei Company to participate in Huawei’s ICT competition for future programs.
In return, Cihan University Erbil provides online classes to offer online training to undergraduates, in a way that offers at least ten online training courses annually. Support for graduate students (HAINA) to work with Hawaii and provide for students, along with several other sections and topics that are scheduled to work within three years of the agreement.
