Esteeming Kurdistan`s flag day

Cihan University-Erbil esteemed Kurdistan flag day on 17/12/2015.

The celebration was attended by the University`s president Dr. Fuad Shareef Mawlood, a number of the lecturer and students.

In a speech, the student union reminded the attendance about September 17 1946 the republic of Mahabad, the story behind the flag, its becoming official by the parliament and the daily recorded victories of the Peshmargas that sacrifice themselves for the country.

It is worth it to mention that, the attended students were all wearing Kurdish traditional dresses, holding their flags and singing the national anthem all the time.
