Expanding the “Plant for the Future” : Voluntary Campaign of the Department of Business Administration to include Rizgari District/ Erbil

The third phase of the “Plant for the Future” campaign, which is organized by the Department of Business Administration, started on Monday 27-2-2023, with the participation of a group of students of the aforementioned department, the Student Activity Committee of the department, and under the supervision of the Assistant Lecturer Ms. Bushra Ali.

This phase of the campaign was implemented in cooperation with the Aviar organization for environmental protection and the municipality of Rizgari sub-district. Approximately 100 Italian pine trees were planted along the main street of the Rizgari sub-district. The afforestation campaign was carried out in the presence of the director of the Rizgari district, the president of the Aviar organization, and a number of notables in the district in addition to the wide participation of the people of the sub-district. The efforts of the Cihan University – Erbi students and the people of the sub-district joined to contribute actively to the success of the afforestation campaign, which was welcomed greatly by the people of the sub-district.

It is worth mentioning that the efforts of the afforestation campaign “plant for the future”, were carried out in full cooperation with the Department of Business Administration students from all levels. The most active ones in the third phase of the campaign were: fourth-year students, Karim Sarmad and Youssef Naffi Ahmed, third-year students, Ali Malla Majeed, Yalda Dler, and Mustafa Siamand, and finally the second-year student, Mustafa Nasih.
