First-Year Physiotherapy Students from Cihan University-Erbil Explore Patient Care and Rehabilitation at Rizgari Hospital

On December 19, 2024, first-year Physiotherapy students from Cihan University-Erbil visited Rizgari Public Hospital in Erbil for an educational field trip. The visit, supervised by Assistant Lecturer Ms. Nora Nasruddin Sharif, aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

Upon arrival, the students were welcomed by Dr. Ardalan Saadaddin Waisi, Head of the Physiotherapy Department, and the hospital staff. The students observed various physiotherapy techniques, interacted with professionals, and gained insights into patient care and rehabilitation. They were introduced to modern equipment and the implementation of exercise programs designed for patients. The visit also included a tour of the hospital’s departments, equipment demonstrations, and discussions on specialized exercise programs. Furthermore, a series of scientific discussions and Q&A sessions were held between the supervising lecturer, the physiotherapy staff, and the students.

At the end of the visit, Assistant Lecturer Ms. Nora Nasruddin Sharif accompanied the students in expressing their gratitude to Dr. Ardalan Saadaddin Waisi and the hospital staff for their valuable contributions to the students’ academic and professional knowledge.
