Football Cup Championship 2022 at Cihan University-Erbil

On 27 February 2022 at 12.30 p.m., a Football Cup Championship 2022 (first match) was held between the Medical Laboratory Sciences Department students versus the Physiotherapy Department students at Cihan University Outer Court. This match was won by the Medical Laboratory Sciences Department students.

The second match which was held between the Biomedical Sciences Department students versus the Translation Department students, was won by the Biomedical Sciences students. This match was attended by the President of the university Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi, and under the supervision of Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Dr. Zhian Jamal Othman, and with the participation of nineteen teams from all departments.

The competitions between students from different departments were distinguished by the wonderful organization, training, and efforts that led to their success. The two matches were led by a talented group of referees consisted of the first and second-stage students from the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science at Cihan University. Special thanks to these referees for their continuous efforts in coaching and preparing the teams for the championship this year. The audience enjoyed attending the match.
