Lecture – Long Span and Complex Structures – part 2
The department of architecture in Cihan University held at Tuesday 21-4-2015 , in the VIP hall at Building 4, a seminar prepared by Prof. Dr. Sabeeh Hashim Alzuhairy titled “Long Span and Complex Structures” which was a fellow up to the first seminar which attracted wide attention from both students and the teaching staff members. the seminar has been attended by the architecture department staff and students and a group of precious guests from different departments.
The seminar has helped to expand both lecturers and students horizon and knowledge in the field of structural engineering, especially in illustrating the types of the structural systems used to construct a long span facilities, this lectures allows the designer to understand what to use of many available structural systems and why? what the spans that he can cover and how? all these question where answered in this seminar. The presenter; Dr. Sabeeh Hashim has enriched the presentation with a wide range of international structural examples that widen the knowledge of those whom attend today.
