Media Department Students Visit Rosa Institution in Erbil

On Thursday, January 22, 2026, students from the Media Department at Cihan University–Erbil, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Ahmad Jamal Hama Karim, visited Rosa Institution in Erbil, which specializes in printing and publishing.

During the visit, the supervising lecturer and Media Department students from the first to the third stages were warmly received by Mr. Ahmed Kamal, Sales Manager at Rosa Institution. He expressed his pleasure at hosting students from the Media Department at Cihan University–Erbil, noting that Rosa Institution has previously participated in cultural activities at the university.

Mr. Ahmed Kamal spoke to the students about the history of the institution’s establishment and the cultural activities it conducts annually. Participation in international book fairs is one of the institution’s most prominent activities, with regular involvement in fairs held in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah. He also discussed the types and genres of books printed and published by Rosa Institution. In its previous works, the institution has devoted significant efforts to translating several international masterpieces that had not previously been printed in publishing centers in the Kurdistan Region, to introduce new writers and intellectuals to Kurdish readers. These publications cover a wide range of fields, including literature, politics, history, religion, education, and children’s books.

In conclusion, the supervising lecturer thanked Mr. Ahmed Kamal for the warm reception of the students. Rosa Institution, in turn, expressed its readiness to support students and to maintain continuous communication and cooperation between both parties.
