He expressed his pleasure at receiving the delegation and highlighted the channel’s identity and standing as a pioneering cultural television network in Kurdistan. He also emphasized its commitment to cultural affairs and social coexistence, noting that WAAR TV was the first media organization to establish its headquarters and main office in Duhok.
During the visit, Mr. Ahmed introduced the students to the institution’s publishing division. He explained that, as part of its cultural and social responsibilities, the division provides financial assistance and support to authors and writers who face financial difficulties in publishing their works.

In conclusion, on behalf of the Head of the Department of Media, the activity supervisor, Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Jamal Hama Karim, expressed his gratitude to Mr. Yousif Ahmed and the entire WAAR TV team for their warm reception and for providing students with a valuable academic opportunity to explore modern television production techniques and practices.
