Medical Biochemical Analysis Department Students Conduct a Humanitarian Visit to Rajai Elderly Care Home

On Thursday, November 5, 2026, a group of fourth-year students from the Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis at Cihan University–Erbil conducted a humanitarian visit to Rajai Elderly Care Home under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Hawre Fatah Sami.

Upon arrival, the students were warmly received by Ms. Khalida Boulos, the director of the elderly care home.

The visit began with Ms. Khalida Boulos introducing the home’s management and the care provided to its residents. She also highlighted the importance of community support and assistance for the elderly.

The students then provided the elderly with winter necessities and gifts. They also spent time with them, engaging in friendly conversations and social interaction.

The visit ended with Ms. Khalida expressing her happiness and gratitude for this humanitarian initiative and encouraging them to conduct more visits in the future. She also emphasized that such activities are not limited to providing essential supplies; however, they offer a valuable opportunity to bring joy, kindness, and a sense of love to the elderly while reminding them that they remain valued members of society and are not forgotten.
