Nutrition and Dietetics Department Students Visited the Central Laboratory in Erbil

On Monday, February 18, 2024, third and fourth-year Nutrition and Dietetics students visited the Central lab of the Health Ministry in Erbil Governorate under the supervision of Assistant Prof. Yassin Galali.

The students toured all three food inspection labs including, the physical, chemical, and microbiological parts of the labs, and were introduced to the general tests conducted on food samples to determine their edibility and expiry, following Iraqi standards for consumer safety.

These scientific visits are highly beneficial for students, serving as a bridge between theoretical knowledge and practical applications.
