Cihan University-Erbil, Fostering Champions Via a Taekwondo Open Championship for Junior Males and Females

The Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Cihan University – Erbil is proud to announce the participation of Hazhar Wahab, a fourth-year student, as a coach in an Open Championship for junior males and females. Hazhar’s active involvement in coaching during the event demonstrated his dedication and commitment.

The tournament took place in Baghdad, specifically at the Sports Activity Hall in Al-Karkh and the Education Hall in Al-Mansour, spanning three days from February 15th to 17th, 2024. It is noteworthy that Hazhar Wahab, an experienced Taekwondo coach with seven years of experience, oversees the training of numerous athletes. He actively participates in the annual Iraqi championships, consistently producing skilled champions who secure top positions. During this particular championship, Hazhar Wahab, also a student at Cihan University, coached an athlete who achieved the second position.
