PARTICIPATION OF A PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORTS SCIENCE STUDENT IN THE IRAQI WOMEN’S TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP

Nazanin Saleh, a student in the 3rd stage of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science at Cihan University- Erbil, participated in the Iraqi Women’s Taekwondo Championship for the advanced category. This championship took place on 30 September 2022, with the participation of 300 players from across Iraq and other local clubs.

Nazanin Saleh won the title of best player of the Iraqi Women’s Taekwondo Championship in all categories and took second place in the advanced championship, under the supervision of talented coach Hazhar Wahab Abdel.

As a talented coach, Hazhar Wahab Abdel was able to coach Nazanin Saleh and share the skills, leadership and qualities needed to perform well in the Taekwondo Championships. It was a great achievement for her as a student coach and she became a role model for Nazanin Saleh.
