Participation of students and the head of the Software and Informatics Engineering Department in the Asia Cell event

On Thursday 7/12/2023 The Head of the Software and Informatics Engineering Department, Assistant Lecturer. Adel Hussein, participated in an event organized by AsiaCell Communications Company to distribute summer training certificates and souvenirs to university students in the Kurdistan Region. Assistant Lecturer. Adel was the representative of Cihan University – Erbil. The head of the department participated in distributing certificates to the trainee students from Cihan University – Erbil.

The Department Head gave a speech during the celebration, where he stressed the importance of summer training for students due to its role in enhancing their understanding of the practical aspects of what they learn theoretically and linking it to the labor market.

In his speech, the Head of the Department highlighted the most important achievements and successes announced recently, as Cihan University-Erbil achieved advanced ranks in Iraq according to the scale recognized by the British Times and the AD Scientific Index, and Cihan University also ranked first in Iraq according to the evaluation of the Engineers’ Iraqis Interview.

Before concluding, the Department Head invited university presidents to participate in the fifth scientific conference for the Departments of Communications Engineering and Computer Science.

In conclusion, the Department Head thanked AsiaCell for its support of students in the field of training and employment. AsiaCell has confirmed that preference in appointment is given to graduates of Cihan University – Erbil due to its high reputation and the distinguished level of its students.
