Placement Testing
- Categories College of Arts and Letters, Department of Translation
- Date February 17, 2019
To determine the English level of the new students of Translation Department and in order to place them in the correct class, they were given a Placement Test. Placement testing is a practice that many colleges and universities use to assess college readiness and determine which classes a student should initially take. The goal is to offer low-scoring students remedial coursework so that they can undertake regular coursework. Less-prepared students will be placed into various remedial situations later. The junior and senior students of Translation Department also helped to give the Placement Test to the new freshmen.
