Practical training for students of the accounting department on the use of accounting softwares

As part of a series of scientific activities in Accounting Department, and on October 4th , 2021, the Assistant Lecturer (Nzar Hayas Abbas) trained a group of third-year students in the Department of Accounting, Cihan University-Erbil, to use the accounting program Sage 50.
With the development of information technology and its entry into all sciences, the impact of information technology on accounting activity was through accounting software and accounting information systems, making it an integrated system that can provide supporting documents for all accounting operations. Training students on accounting software is an important input that helps them to meet work requirements in financial and industrial institutions and companies.
Through this practical training, the students applied the real mainly financial statements on the Sage 50 program.The sage 50 accounting program is considered one of the most important accounting programs around the world, and it is one of the programs that are used in teaching in the accounting department at Cihan University-Erbil to help students keep pace with the development in accounting work after graduation
