Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Dalawi, president of Cihan University-Erbil, was thanked and appreciated for his important work and projects at Cihan University Erbil by Dr. Nawzad Yahya Bajgir, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Cihan Universities.
On Thursday, 26 January 2023, at a special meeting at the University’s VIP Hall in the presence of advisers to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Cihan University Group and Cihan University Council and some teachers initially gave a speech confirming their support for Cihan University Erbil and stated: It is an honor that the World University has been able to achieve important scientific achievements at the international level, Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in the past while implementing some projects in various fields to serve different classes of society.
In response to professor Dr. Amjad Saber Dalawi, president of Cihan University Erbil, he thanked the university for its appreciation and consideration of its work and programs, saying that the achievements were not only the work of anyone but also the staff of science and Researchers and teachers continued to cooperate, stressing that in the future we will further develop our university’s scientific work and projects so that we can reach skilled students in different fields and better serve the community.

Among the Kurdistan region’s private universities, Cihan University Erbil has achieved some scientific achievements and ranked high in several national rankings. Cihan University Erbil recorded a new record, in a way that came in first place among the private universities of the Kurdistan Region, at the level of all the public and private universities in the Kurdistan Region (fourth place), at the general level of all universities in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region together, With 75 universities, Cihan University Erbil came in 15th. On the other hand, Cihan University-Erbil has been able to gain the trust of international institutions for scientific departments, in addition to expanding the circle of scientific relations and holding some conferences and scientific activities, at the local level by implementing some different projects. The university has been able to serve the ministries and governmental institutions, and various classes.
