Public Administration Department Students Conduct a Scientific Visit to the Union of Iraqi Importers and Exporters
On Sunday, February 1, 2026, the Department of Public Administration organized a scientific field trip to the Union of Iraqi Importers and Exporters at Kurdistan Region, Erbil Branch, to familiarize third-year students with the Union’s working system. A group of third-year students from the Department visited the Union of Iraqi Importers and Exporters under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Raz Azad Jalal.
Upon arrival, the group was warmly received by Mr. Rasul Haji Omar, Head of the Kurdistan Region Branch of the Union of Iraqi Importers and Exporters, and Mr. Shwan Sherzad Shekhl, Head of Communication.
During the visit, Mr. Rasul Haji Omar provided a detailed explanation of the Union’s management methods and administrative processes. This presentation helped the students gain a realistic and practical understanding of international trade and its administrative mechanisms.
Later, Mr. Shwan Sherzad Shekhl explained the procedures, rights, and requirements for joining the Union. He also clarified the process of establishing an institutional identity within the Union, in addition to outlining the benefits of membership.
The visit ended with the supervisor and students expressing their sincere gratitude to Mr. Rasul Haji Omar and his team for their warm reception and informative presentation.
