Publication of a scientific research of a lecturer from the Accounting Department

On 17 of November 2020, assistant lecturer Nazar Hayas Abbas Daowdi, a lecturer in the Accounting Department, Cihan University – Erbil, published a paper in the Journal of Al-Maamoun University – Baghdad, and the research was titled: Evaluating the Quality of the ATM Technology (Automated Teller Machines) Cihan Islamic Bank- Erbil Branch as an Applied Model.

The research deals with the use of automated teller technology, which is one of the applications that are relatively modern and applicable in the field of marketing and banking services. By measuring the quality of the various services provided by Cihan Islamic Bank, located in the city of Erbil, in Kurdistan Region.

In this research, a survey was conducted on the opinions of customers using ATM technology about the quality of services provided, as it provided many benefits in the field of electronic transactions, which have become an integral part of an individual’s life.

The research sample included selecting 50 customers of Cihan Islamic Bank, as data were collected, analyzed, and results were extracted using the statistical program packages SPSS.

The research reached a number of important results, including the customer’s feeling of security in dealing with automated teller technology, safety of withdrawn sums and their suitability for use, as well as speed and accuracy in the withdrawal process.
