Scientific Visit to Palestine Consulate in Erbil

Within the activities of the Department of International Relations, A.L Rashid Michael and a group of students from the Department of International Relations, visited the Consulate of the State of Palestine in the Kurdistan Region on 11/22/2021.

  The visit was to know about the work of the Consul, the students get benefit from these visits as they improve their experience about the activity and functions of the Consulate, and the essence of political and diplomatic relations.

Through the visit, the history of Palestinian-Kurdish relations was discussed, in addition to the discussions about the suffering of the two communities, The discussion was also about the latest developments in the political issue of the Palestinian cause. The Consul, Mr Nazmi Hazouri, explained the repercussions and developments on the peace process and gaining rights for a Palestinian people.

At the end of the visit, Mr Nazmi Hazouri showed us a set of pictures of the suffering of the Palestinian people, each picture had a tragic story.
