Students from the Department of Communications and Computer Engineering visited Korek Telecom Company for a scientific excursion

Department of Communications and Computer Engineering fourth-year students paid a visit to Korek Telecom at the main office, Where Mr. Aram, Director of Development and Planning in the Human Resources Department, gave a lecture that covered a thorough explanation of the company’s capabilities and educational programs, how to get students training opportunities and training certificates, how to create a resume, and advice on how to perform well in interviews to get jobs in the company after graduation.

After that, a field trip was organized to one of the Korek Company’s cell towers, where many specifics about how cellular connections function practically in the business were explained, along with connections between these real-world applications and the theories and fundamental concepts that the students had learned in the classroom.With the help of a specialist crew, Bilal, a specialized engineer, gave this knowledge.

To further explain the practical applications and connect them to the lectures and labs available at Cihan University, Mr.Yazan Saif Al-Din Mahmoud, a lecturer in the Department of Communications and Computer Engineering, worked with him under the supervision and guidance of the professor. The students’ contact was quite strong, which benefited science. They learned many crucial things about their areas of scientific expertise and how to apply them in the real world.
