Students from the Medical Biochemical Analysis Department Visited a Medical Center in Erbil

In continuation of the Medical Biochemical Analysis Department’s efforts to familiarize students with the work environment, third-stage students from the aforementioned department visited a medical center in Erbil on Tuesday, 28 November 2023, under the supervision of Dr. Kamran Muhammad Heydarian.

The students received a warm welcome from Dr. Farman Kawany, the Director of Media Medical Center, who explained to the students the skills of familiarization and the mastery of the latest laboratory equipment.

During this scientific trip, the students visited various laboratory departments. Under the guidance of the laboratory supervisor and staff, they were introduced to the operation of devices for blood tests, immunity, hormones, biochemistry, and blood culturing such as Cobas C311, Fuji, Mini Vidas, Cobas E411, Vitec 2 Compact, and CBC.
