Students of Cihan University-Erbil Became Familiar with the Historical Cities of Poland
As a result of implementing the MoU between Cihan University-Erbil and University of LODZ, a group of students from Cihan University-Erbil completed a course at the University of LODZ in Poland. On Saturday (2/11/2024), the students visited the historic city of Gdansk on the Baltic coast in northern Poland.
During their visit, the students became acquainted with the historical city of Gdansk which was completely destroyed during World War II but rebuilt later in a modern way. The students paid a visit to Stogi Beach, St. Mary`s Church, Motlawa River, and Green Gate.
This group of students consists of Dina Ali Hassan, Zanoon Saad Zanoon, and Siban Nawzad Ismail from the Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis; Raya Amir Abdul-Jabbar and Sidra Nihad Ishaq Issa from the Department of Business Administration; and Shewar Rjdi Mohammed from the Department of General Education. During the two-day trip, they inserted, they experienced a joyful time and got acquainted with the Polish history and culture in the historic city of Gdansk. Moreover, they were excited by viewing the remnants of World War II, the architecture, ancient history, and the diversity and charm of the city.
