Students of General Education Department Visited Fakhir Mergasor High School
On Wednesday, 9th of March 2022, the Department of General Education organized a scientific visit to Fakhir Mergasor High School in Erbil. The visiting delegation consisted of (20) students of third-year and supervised by Assistant Lecturer Shwana Qadir Perot. The objectives of this visit were to expose the students to the labor market and familiarize them with new teaching methods used at the school.
After arriving, the delegates were warmly welcomed by the headmistress, Mrs. Chiman Hussein Ali and the teaching staff of the school. Later, the students were divided into four groups to attend the classes and to observe the various teaching methods used at the school. Students of General Education department were given a chance to talk about the vision, the goals and the message of General Education Department. Moreover, they distributed some brochures to the students. After that, visiting delegation toured the library, the Art Hall and several labs of the school.
Lastly, Mr. Shwana on behalf of the department thanked Mrs. Chiman and the teaching staff for the welcome and the time spent during the visit. He also invited them to visit the department of General Education at Cihan University-Erbil.
