The Architectural Engineering Department Organized a Scientific Visit to the TULIB Towers Project in Erbil
The Architectural Engineering Department of Cihan University-Erbil organized a scientific visit for its third-level students to the TULIB Towers project, specializing in building technology. The visit aimed to enhance students’ experience and knowledge in the fields of foundation and concrete formworks. Supervised by Lecturer Mustafa Fahmi Al-Delawi, this educational outing took place on February 28th, 2024 (Wednesday).
Mr. Adnan Ahmed Rashid, representing the site manager, and Mr. Mohammed Diwaly Atrushi, serving as the site engineer of the project, warmly welcomed the students. They provided a comprehensive presentation of their projects, delving into details such as the introduction of the TULIB Towers. The towers comprise four structures, each with 44 floors (including 4 base floors, 2 commercial floors, and 38 residential floors). Moreover, the representatives offered detailed insights into the project’s foundation, including the construction process. The site visit also covered various aspects of concrete formworks, including columns, beams, and slab formworks.
