The Biomedical Sciences Department Organized a Workshop on Advancements in Medical Devices for Skin Beautification

On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, the Biomedical Sciences Department at Cihan University-Erbil organized a workshop titled “Advancements in Medical Devices for Skin Beautification,” which was presented by Dr. Noor Majid Alkhailani. The event took place in the university’s conference hall and was attended by esteemed department heads, faculty members, and students from various disciplines.

Dr. Noor Majid Alkhailani, a pharmacist and the owner of Viva La Skin Esthetic Center, delivered an insightful presentation on the latest medical devices used in aesthetic clinics to address body contouring, skin, and facial concerns. She provided detailed information on advanced technologies, such as Morpheus8, EXION, HydraFacial, and GMV, and highlighted their effectiveness in treating various dermatological and cosmetic issues. She emphasized that aesthetic procedures are not solely for enhancing beauty but also serve as solutions for individuals with specific medical conditions or abnormalities.

At the end of the workshop, Dr. Noor announced a collaborative initiative with the Biomedical Sciences Department to offer a specialized training course on modern skin beautification devices for students at Cihan University-Erbil. She encouraged interested students to register for the program.

In recognition of her valuable contribution, Prof. Dr. Merza Hamza Homady presented Dr. Noor Majid Alkhailani with a letter of appreciation, expressing gratitude for her expertise and collaboration with the department.
