The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Cihan Universities Erbil praises the scientific efforts of Cihan University-Erbil
In response to the scientific achievements they have made for their university over the past year, The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Cihan Universities praises teachers and science staff at Cihan University-Erbil, also for the initiative, Cihan University Security Directorate reaffirmed its support for the further scientific development of teachers and employees.
An important meeting was held on Thursday (3/2/2022) at the VIP Hall of Cihan University Erbil, in the presence of Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Delaw, the President of Cihan University Erbil, Dr. Nawzad Yahya Bajgir, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Cihan Universities, assistant university president, dean, department president and teachers.
At the beginning of the meeting, in two separate speeches, the president of Cihan University- Erbil, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Cihan Universities praised and thanked students, employees, teachers, and security staff. The university’s quality assurance and research centers, Media, and IT support team have been able to advance the university’s science level and global ranking.
In another part of the meeting, Cihan University Security Directorate announced a new initiative, in this context, to further develop the scientific capabilities of teachers and university employees: From now on, the university’s leadership has cost. Each scientific research was published by teachers and university staff in various fields, and is also encouraged to promote their scientific ranks and conduct original and high-level research.
In another section of the Cihan University-Erbil ‘s security initiative, teachers, employees, and researchers were encouraged to obtain higher degrees for their specialty in a way that universities would help and support them.
Cihan University Erbil has recorded new standards in the last two world rankings over the past few days, in a way that the Web Science (WoS) ranking has been able to gain first place in the Kurdistan Region’s private universities and to gain fourth place at the level of government and private universities in the Kurdistan Region.
Meanwhile, the newest world-class university ranking for the year (2022), published last Monday (January 31, 2022) by Cihan University- Erbil, has seen significant scientific progress at the level of public and private universities in Kurdistan and Iraq, with 4,370 ranks worldwide in just one year. It comes at a time when Cihan University-Erbil ranked 9,100th in the 2021 world rankings, but in this year’s 2022 ranking, a large number have moved forward and reached 4,730.
In academic fields, Cihan University -Erbil, as an academic science institution, has been able to work internationally alongside the decisions and guidelines of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The two most famous European trust agencies (ASIC)and (ZEVA) show why Cihan University – Erbil is a university at the level in Kurdistan and Iraq that has received accreditation for all colleges and departments.
