The Chinese Consulate in the Kurdistan Region welcomed a delegation from Cihan University-Erbil
On Thursday, November 25th, 2021_ The Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in the Kurdistan Region received a delegation from Cihan University headed by Dr. Amanj Ali Othman, Head of International and Diplomatic Relations Department, and in the presence of the Assistant Lecturer Mahmoud Ismail and a group of distinguished students in the department.
The Chinese Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, Mr. Ni Ruchi, welcomed the university delegation. Later, they reviewed the academic and cultural cooperation between the People’s Republic of China and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The Chinese Consul emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Chinese Consulate and Cihan University-Erbil. He also talked about the possibility of the consulate playing a role in opening prospects for cooperation between Chinese universities and Cihan University regarding research fellowships and student exchange.
The Chinese Consul also praised the role of Cihan University-Erbil and the scientific level of its graduates through direct knowledge.
For his part, Dr. Amanj Ali Othman extended his thanks and gratitude on behalf of Cihan University-Erbil to the Chinese Consul for the warm reception and hospitality. He valued the efforts made by the Chinese Consulate to serve the interests of the people of two sides.
At the end, Mr. Ni Ruchi promised to visit Cihan University-Erbil in the near future and discuss mechanisms of cooperation between the two sides
