The College of Pharmacy at Cihan University-Erbil Organized a Scientific Visit to Bio Private Laboratory

On Thursday, November 7, 2024, the College of Pharmacy organized a scientific visit for second-year students to Bio Private Laboratory. The visit was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Hawta Salam Khalid and Lab Assistant Aya Qaiesar Ebraheem.

Bio Private Laboratory is one of the most professional laboratories for testing various patient samples in Erbil. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize students with the methods recently employed in the laboratory for sample analysis.

Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Srood Jawad Mahmod and his staff, who provided a brief overview of each section of the laboratory.

Additionally, Mr. Hawta Salam Khalid offered further insights into laboratory processes, including patient sample collection, chemical analysis, data evaluation, and result reporting.

At the end of the visit, students had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions with the laboratory staff, gaining valuable insights into laboratory instruments and their applications.
