THE DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING ORGANIZED A FIELD TRIP TO THE TRANS IRAQ BANK FOR INVESTMENT IN ERBIL

On May 10, 2023, the Department of Accounting organized a field trip to Trans Iraq Bank for Investment in Erbil for first-stage students under the supervision of the Lecturer Dr. Hashem MHD safi.

Upon arrival, the teachers and students were welcomed by Mr. Sarmad Abdullah Mohammed. He briefed them on the nature of the bank’s work, types of banking transactions, and available investments for all segments of society and capital.

In addition, students learned how to record accounting transactions related to investments, calculate partnership ratios, divide accounts and record investment accounts, calculate profits and how to distribute them between partners and banks.

The scientific visit ended with an overview of the Trans-Iraq Investment Bank’s accounting system and the types of investment contracts and loans offered by the bank. Students were given the opportunity to ask questions about investment mechanisms, partnerships, and facilities provided by the bank.
