THE DEPARTMENT OF ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING CONDUCTED A SCIENTIFIC VISIT TO CITADEL-ERBIL

On 8 November 2022 (Tuesday), the Department of Architectural Engineering at Cihan University-Erbil conducted a scientific visit for fourth-stage students to Citadel-Erbil, under supervision of Assistant Lecturer Ms. Nagham Ismael and Ms. Mays Naseer.

 During the visit, the supervisors of the historical buildings made an introductory tour and briefed the students on the architectural details and environmental features that characterize the buildings.

Additionally, as part of the Architecture and Environment course, students take the opportunity to record some information and take photos in preparation for their reports. Students also absorbed some information about how people have lived over the past centuries and how successfully they interacted with their environment.
