The Department of Banking and Financial Science organized a scientific visit to Cihan Bank for Investment and Islamic Finance
On Thursday April 8th, 2021, the Department of Financial and Banking Sciences and under the supervision of teacher Omead Ibraheem Hussain organized a scientific trip for a group of students of the department to visit Cihan Bank.
The visit began by meeting everyone who was working in the bank, starting with the banking expert and one of the board members, Mr. Saleh Al-Khatib, who gave them a lot of information accompanied by examples that were firmly rooted in their minds. He provided the students with valuable advice about the importance of being an accountant. Then, according to their specialization, the students were informed about everything they need to be one of the bank employees. The information will help them to have a broader idea to help them make the appropriate decision to achieve the goals, and to use their intellectual talents in the prosperity of personal and banking success.
The visit included detailed explanations of the work of all bank departments and work mechanisms, as well as giving students the opportunity to ask their questions about how to find suitable job opportunities and face various difficulties within the working life of banks. The students of the Department of Finance and Banking benefited from this visit to embody the theoretical aspect that they had studied at the university and the practical aspect that is applied in governmental and private institutions, including banks, especially the Cihan Bank for Investment and Islamic Finance.
