THE DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, CIHAN UNIVERSITY-ERBIL ORGANIZED A VISIT TO THE ORPHANAGE

On 8 March 2022, the Department of Business Administration, Cihan University- Erbil organized a visit to the orphanage which involved a group of third-stage students under the supervision of Ms. Bushra Ali and Assistance Lecturer Mr. Muhammed Jamil. The objectives of the visit were to expose the students to the ways the orphanage is managed and to help 58 orphaned children (consisting of 20 girls and 38 boys) aged 4 to 18 years.

Upon arriving at the orphanage, Ms. Bushra Ali, Assistance Lecturer Muhammed Jamil, and the students were warmly welcomed by the host of the orphanage, Ms. Delkhwaz Lashkari Taha. She began by introducing the orphaned children turn by turn. She later explained the facilities and services provided for the orphaned children. The students were also shared with the daily routines of the orphaned children, the obstacles faced by them, and the ways to aid them to get a quality education.

The visit ended with a thank you note by Ms. Bushra Ali and Assistant Lecturer Mr. Muhammed Jami to Ms. Delkhwaz Lashkari Taha for her support and information given during the visit. Ms. Bushra Ali and Assistant Lecturer Mr. Muhammed Jami also discussed several alternative strategies to assist the orphaned children physically, mentally, financially, and emotionally.This visit was interesting to all who participated in it!
