THE DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ORGANIZED A SCIENTIFIC VISIT TO KOREK TELECOM COMPANY

On 3 November 2022 (Thursday), the Department of Business Administration organized a scientific visit to Korek Company for Telecommunications in Erbil for third -stage students under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Ms. Bushra Ali to enriching students’ practical works and specialty.

The visit included two discussion panels. The first panel was presented by the company’s human resources manager, Mr. Aram Muhammad Kheder, who illustrated the company’s marketing mechanisms for the purpose of reaching out the largest number of customers.

While the second discussion panel was presented by Mr. Ahmed Saeed, the Marketing Director for products and services in the company. He illustrated the basics information of using the Google search engine and artificial intelligence tools used to collect the needed information about users. Later, he also briefed on ways to marketing and advertising for different products by sending advertisements to users according to the information collected via their various Google accounts. During the visit, students asked questions about the company’s services, the marketing mechanisms used, and the quality of services, which were answered by both panelists.

Lastly, Assistant Lecturer Ms. Bushra Ali thanked Mr. Aram Muhammad Kheder, Mr. Ahmed Saeed, and the staff for providing their assistance and care to the students and wished them success.
