The Department of Human Resources Management organizes a scientific visit to the Erbil Bank for Investment and Finance

On Wednesday, 15.12.2021, a scientific visit was conducted to Erbil Bank for Investment and Finance, which includes the banking and financial sector.  This visit was organized by the Department of Human Resources Management, Cihan University-Erbil and under the supervision of Dr. Hawkar Birdawod and the Assistant Lecturer Manaf Basil Raouf for a group of third year students.

     The visit began with an interview with the managing director of the bank in Erbil, Mr. Bakhtiar Rashid Ismail, and Mr. Hassan Muhammad Salih al-Ajili, who gave the students a lot of information accompanied by examples, in addition explaining the importance of the accountant in any institute.  They also explained about the required characteristics that the accountant should have, transparency, integrity and the preservation of the funds of the institution. Moreover, they emphasized that the accountant is responsible for all the needs of the bank as an employee, and the necessity of having the ability to take the appropriate decision at the right time for the purpose of achieving the objectives of the bank in general, in addition to using all their intellectual talents that the bank hired to flourish the personal success of the accountant and the success of the bank as a whole.

     The visit included giving a detailed explanation of the work of all sections of the bank and the work mechanism, as well as giving the students the opportunity to ask their questions about the practical reality and how to find suitable job opportunities and face various difficulties within the working life in banks.

     The students have obtained a practical application of the theoretical aspect that is taught in their specialty, in addition to understanding the application’s methods of governmental and private institutions, including banks, especially the Erbil Bank for Investment and finance.
