THE DEPARTMENT OF MEDIA ORGANIZED A SCIENTIFIC TRIP FOR SECOND-STAGE STUDENTS

On 30 November 2022 (Wednesday), the Department of Media at Cihan University organized a scientific trip for second-stage students to Shehab Press in Erbil, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Mr. Omar Hassan Fahmy.
The students were welcomed by Mr. Ardlan Abd al-Rahman. Mr. Ardlan Abd al-Rahman toured the students and briefed them on the printing process. During the tour, the students interacted and asked many questions about the printing process, its stages, and how it works from cutting the printed paper; how to fold it; how the equipment works, collection, preparation of the cover for printing, the gluing process, to the final production.

Students were also informed about the output preparation process, including paper preparation design, how to upload the design to offset foil, how to prepare to start printing, and the process of placing the proper ink on it.
