The Department of Nursing and Community Health at Cihan University-Erbil organized a Seminar on Breast Cancer
On Sunday, October 22nd, 2023, As its usual pioneering activities, the Department of Community Health organized a seminar on breast cancer. This seminar was conducted during breast cancer awareness month which addresses governmental establishments and humanitarian organizations.
For this reason, Khallat Ali as a third-year student from the Department of Nursing and Community Health paid a visit to governmental establishments and non-governmental organizations for the purpose of raising awareness on breast cancer. During her visit to Bahirka Center, part of Masala organization which is specialized in women’s health, she elucidated the types of breast cancer, breast cancer prevention methods, and the risk factors of breast cancer.
Furthermore, she later shed light on the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. The purpose was to benefit women substantially so that they could maintain their health by preventing and controlling risk factors of breast cancer.
