The Deputy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research congratulates Cihan University- Erbil

On the occasion of becoming a member of the International Association of Universities (IAU)، the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kurdistan Region congratulates Cihan University-Erbil.
In this regard, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, president of Cihan University-Erbil, received a letter from Prof. Dr. Abdulfattah Abdulrazzaq Mahmood, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the number (9258), on the occasion of Cihan University-Erbil joining the International Association of Universities (IAU).

“On the occasion of becoming an active member of the International Association of Universities (IAU) of UNESCO، we congratulate you as the first private university in the Kurdistan Region، on behalf of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.”

In his congratulatory letter، the Deputy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research said: “Within the framework of our ministry’s encouragement to universities، to be a member of international institutions، we value your scientific and academic endeavors، and we wish you continued progress and is blessed again.”
The membership certificate was delivered to Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, on April 17, 2023, by the International Association of Universities, which was signed by Hilligje Van’t Land, Secretary General of the International Association of Universities. According to the certificate, Cihan University- Erbil has been an active member of the International Association of Universities since 2023.
