The electronic learning system committee of Cihan University – Erbil holds a meeting in accordance with the preventive measures taken by KRG-Iraq to protect from the Novel COVID-19

On 4/4/2020,the committee of E-learning system and Moodle system at Cihan University-Erbil headed by Dr.Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi held a meeting after the university council meeting through a video conference and by using (Hangouts Meet) application within the framework of the preventive measures committed by Cihan university- Erbil. The members discussed how to implement and activate the E- Learning system as well as the possibility at the present time to supervise E-learning using the Moodle system for the purpose of sustaining education for the current academic year.

Cihan University – Erbil is keen to follow students scientifically and ensure the continuity of the scientific curricula as a step towards the continuity of education and the application of e-learning.

Through the discussion in the meeting, it became clear that the university’s preparations are complete to start E-learning and have completed all of its preparations, as it has done so earlier in the current academic year, and this in turn facilitates the university’s work today with wide and rapid steps starting next Tuesday in electronic communication with students.

That is considered to be a  new scientific achievement represented in the continuity of education in spite of the serious repercussions of the global health crisis and at the same time following health and safety instructions to stay at home, as approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
