The Second Annual Scientific Students’ Conference
The second annual scientific students conference was held on the 4th of June, 2014.The president of the university , Professor Dr. Amjad Sabir Al-Dalawy , gave the opening speech after which was the speech of the preparation committee of the conference.Later, there was an exhibition for the first year students of the Interior Design department.
The sessions of the conference started at 10:00 a.m for all departments to discuss the most distinguished researches with the attendance of lecturers and students.
Among the distinguished researches in the English Department (morning study) were :
1.”Romeo , Othello and their Tragic Love” by Ahmed Qasim and Jannat Abdul Wahab and supervised by assistant lecturer Akram I.Danial.
2.”The Theme of Jealousy in Othello”by Rasha Mohammad , Maha Imad, Hadeel Hani and Noor Jamal and supervised by assistant lecturer Akram I.Danial.
3.”Theme of Love and Marriage in Pride & Prejudice”by evening study students , Baha Aldeen Bahram, Sarkot Ibrahin, Bakhtiar Wilya and Saya Azad.The research was supervised by assistant lecturer Mohammad Juma.
The president of the university and members of the preparation committee granted the students and their supervisors appreciation certificates in the final session of the conference with the attendance of lecturers and students from different departments in the university.
