Two Students from the Department of Medical Microbiology Published a Scientific Research
Two students from the Department of Medical Microbiology of Cihan University- Erbil, Aram Noorelddin Muyelddin and Mirzan Mustafa Omar, made distinguished efforts in conducting a scientific survey of research related to cell in terms of its components, characteristics, limitations, how it was divided and the reasons for that based on what scientists and researchers have reached in this field.
The review paper, entitled ‘Cell Biology and Cell Organelles: A Review Study, Cell Cycle and Cell Death’, was about prokaryotic and eukaryotic organelles. Prokaryotes are single-cell creatures that lack nuclei and they have no membrane-bound organelles compared to eukaryotes which are more complex than prokaryotes, as human cells are animal cells. Eukaryotic differ from plant cells in that they have smaller vacuoles and are without chloroplasts used by plants to produce the energy they need. With regard to fungal cells, there is a resemblance between human and their cells that both have a chitin-containing cell wall.
