A Delegation from Cihan University-Erbil Showcases Their Skills at ‘The Arab Toxicology Knights Cup Competition’ in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
In an impressive display of academic prowess, students from Cihan University-Erbil take part in the prestigious Arab Toxicology Knights Cup Competition organized by the Regional Poison Control Center in Dammam. This event, which kicks off on April 20, 2024, and will end on April 23, 2024, involves the participation of a total of twenty esteemed universities in the first phase of the competition.
Under the expert guidance of the head of the delegation (Assistant Lecturer Sara Mohammed Hameed from the Biomedical Sciences Department, Cihan University-Erbil), the student team from Cihan University-Erbil, representing the College of Pharmacy, Department of Biomedical Sciences, and Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis, faces stiff competition from renowned institutions, including Umm Al-Qura University, Ain Al-Shams University, Al-Rajhi University, and Al-Zarqa University. These universities are all grouped in a single challenging bracket.
This competition, which highlights the importance of toxicology research and knowledge in the region, sees enthusiastic participation from students eager to demonstrate their understanding and problem-solving abilities in this specialized field.
