The Department of Accounting Organized a Scientific Trip to Cihan Bank in Erbil
On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, the Department of Accounting organized an educational tour to Cihan Bank, aiming to provide second-stage students with a hands-on understanding of how the banking system operates. Dr. Kahleed Merkhan, overseeing the trip, ensured that the students were well-informed for an enriching experience. Upon arrival, they were kindly received by Miss Saya Omer Haji, the valued director of Cihan Bank, who extended a warm welcome.
Throughout the visit, the students were guided through various departments of the bank, each offering unique insights into its operations. They explored the details of saving accounts, explored into the principles of Murabaha transactions, gained an understanding of the accounting fund’s role, and were briefed on the functions of the department of companies and the operation department. This comprehensive tour provided them with a holistic view of the bank’s inner workings.
