A Professor from Cihan University-Erbil Held an Important Meeting with the President of Warsaw University for Life Sciences, Poland
As a part of her visit to Poland, Assistant Professor Dr. Amina Sabah Mahmood Jumaa, Head of the Medical Microbiology Department at Cihan University-Erbil, held an important meeting with the president of Warsaw University for Life Sciences.
During the meeting, the President of Warsaw University for Life Sciences expressed his pleasure in expanding and strengthening the university’s relations with Cihan University-Erbil, especially now that the relations between the universities have reached such a development that one of the professors from Cihan University-Erbil delivered lectures at Warsaw University for Life Sciences. He hoped their relations would improve further. He also said ‘‘It encourages students to visit Cihan University-Erbil’’. For this reason, Assistant Professor Dr. Amina Sabah Mahmood Jumaa and the President of Cihan University – Erbil, Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Delawi thanked him for his leadership and level of communication development.
He added ‘‘Cihan University-Erbil, as a leading university in Kurdistan, has always opened the door to the world’s outstanding universities in general and Poland’s universities’’.
Furthermore, the Vice President of Warsaw University for Life Sciences during the meeting encouraged the strengthening of their relations with Cihan University-Erbil, particularly as they have a successful experience with four students from this university, who have demonstrated high standards of education and science since their stay.
At the same time, on Wednesday (15/06/2022), Assistant Professor Dr. Amina Sabah Mahmood Jumaa and Professor Christophe visited the Veterinary Institution. She presented a topic and then explained joint research with Professor Slaumir Giziriski, a highly successful and active professor in Veterinary Medicine.
In another part of her visit to the Veterinary Institution, accompanied by some teachers and students, after going to several laboratories and pet shelters, Assistant Professor Dr. Amina Sabah Mahmood Jumaa held several more meetings to plan for more cooperation between the two universities.
Assistant Professor Dr. Amina Sabah Mahmood Jumaa also stated that ‘‘the results of our today’s visit to Poland were productive, especially to serve the process of science and education including the science relations of Cihan University-Erbil with the universities and scientific institutions in Poland’’.
