Another group of students was sent to Poland by Cihan University – Erbil’s president, Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi
“Our university is constantly trying to increase the scientific position and knowledge of students, and in this context, it follows the modern scientific mechanism and method,” stated Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil.
The announcement was made by the president of Cihan University – Erbil today, Monday, February 12, 2024, during a meeting and reception for students who will be traveling to Poland in the coming days. The meeting was part of a larger gathering that included the heads of several scientific departments as well as assistant professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Abdulkarim, the university’s assistant president for student affairs and administration. Since Cihan University-Erbil strives to educate all of its students, especially those who are pursuing science and education, about the state of science worldwide, these students are not given free tuition but are instead chosen from among more than 6,000 students based on a set of scientific standards Thus, these students are not chosen at random but rather according to a set of scientific standards from a pool of over 6,000 students. I commend the parents and families for providing their children with an excellent education.
In a different section of his speech, the president of Cihan University- Erbil addressed the students and said, “You should always remember that you are Eastern, and he reiterated that any immorality and bad behavior will close the door to success. When you go to your universities in Poland, you should know that you are the representatives of Kurdistan, Cihan University, your parents, and your relatives. Therefore, what is important to us is showing morality, followed by science. Now the students who were sent before have returned and made excellent promises, and their numbers have increased. You now have the chance to argue that your morality, sound scientific knowledge, and love of learning present a positive image of our society and alter their unfavorable opinions.
Towards the conclusion of his speech, Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi urged the students who were confident in their scientific aptitude and expressed hope that this opportunity would open doors for them in the future, particularly when pursuing a master’s degree. Additionally, he said that the university president and the heads of the scientific departments would stay in constant contact with the students to address any personal or scientific questions they may have while they are in Poland.
In a different section of the meeting, several parents and students expressed their gratitude to the president of Cihan University-Erbil for giving the students this significant opportunity. They also expressed their pride in the university’s presidency and the teachers there who work so hard to prepare our kids for the future of this nation.
Nine students make up this student course, which is divided into four groups according to scientific criteria between Warsaw University of Life Sciences and the University of Lodz on the one hand, and Cihan University-Erbil on the other, considering three projects that will be sent to Poland on the other. Under the scope of the ongoing execution of the agreement between Cihan University-Erbil and Warsaw University of Life Sciences, in the sections on nutrition and dietetics, medical microbiology, administration, chemical analysis, community health nursing, and biomedical within the framework of Cihan University-Erbil and Warsaw University of Life Sciences’ ongoing implementation of their agreement. As per the agreement between the University of Lodz and Cihan University-Erbil, three students in the departments of Microbiology and Administration make up the remaining portion. In addition two other students in the Nutrition and Dialectics, and Biomedical departments, will visit Poland as part of the Erasmus Plus Program. Students who meet the program’s requirements have been nominated to continue their studies in that nation.
