Cihan University-Erbil President Signs Agreement with Ajloun National University-Jordan
Cihan University-Erbil maintains its commitment to enhancing its scientific and academic collaborations with prestigious universities and scientific institutions. On Thursday, April 25, 2024, the President of Cihan University-Erbil formalized a collaborative agreement with Ajloun National University-Jordan.
Before finalizing the agreement, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, held discussions with Prof. Firas Ahmad Al-Hanandeh, the President of Ajloun National University-Jordan. Their meeting focused on the importance of enhancing scientific collaborations between universities to leverage each other’s expertise and facilitate the exchange of information across various academic disciplines.
Subsequently, in a distinguished ceremony attended by the presence of Dr. Abdul Sattar Karim, Vice President for Administrative and Student Affairs, an accord was formally signed between the President of Ajloun National University in Jordan and the President of Cihan University-Erbil. This agreement outlines the commitment of both institutions to collaborate on hosting joint international conferences across diverse academic domains, organizing symposia, conducting joint workshops, and facilitating student exchange programs. Furthermore, the agreement encompasses several other significant provisions pertaining to the strategic cooperation framework between the two universities.
Following the formalization of the agreement, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, presented the emblem of Cihan University-Erbil to Prof. Firas Ahmad Al-Hanandeh, the President of Ajloun National University-Jordan. Expressing optimism, he envisioned the agreement as a pivotal step in fortifying the nexus of scientific collaboration between the two universities and fostering academic exchange between their respective communities.
