Cihan University-Erbil Students Engage in Diverse Activities Upon Completion of Studies in Poland
Students, from Cihan University-Erbil are dedicated to continuing their education, in Poland enthusiastically participating in a range of projects as part of their academic pursuits.
To this end, at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, SGGW, in Poland a student named Razan Raed from the Biomedical Department of Cihan University-Erbil recently gave a seminar about carcinogens and anticancer agents found in food. The focus was on aflatoxin, known as one of the fungi worldwide. Razan delved into its origins, causes and ways to reduce its presence in food items. Alongside Razan Raid and Abdulrahman Yarb from the Department of Biomedical and Nyan Osman Mohammed from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Warsaw University of Life Sciences, SGGW, Poland, shared their final reports of their courses guided by Dr. Ewa Majewska.
Moreover, Nyan Osman Mohammed, a second-year student from the Nutrition and Dietetics Department at Cihan University-Erbil worked closely with Professor Katarzyna Śwaiader, in the Nutrition Department lab at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, in Poland. Together they created a calcium cookie specifically designed for individuals with low calcium levels who follow a plant-based diet. Furthermore, this student of Cihan University-Erbil showcased her skills by passing the exam at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, SGGW, Poland.
