Cihan University-Erbil’s President, Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, thanks and appreciates the lecturers and researchers

In a letter dated February 14, 2024, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University -Erbil, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the teachers and researchers who helped the university rank first among all specialized universities in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region for the third year in the international ranking (InCites – Web of Science ( WoS) ).

Dear lecturers and researchers…
For the third consecutive year, Cihan University-Erbil has ranked first among all private universities in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, fourth among all governmental and private universities in the region, and tenth among all governmental and private universities in Iraq in the International Order of InCites – Web of Science (WoS).

It is evident that the ranking is determined by the number of research sites (749) that our university’s professors and researchers published in the original, highly regarded, and influential scientific journals of the world between 2019 and 2023. Our university is proud to have such highly regarded and capable scientists on staff who have devoted their lives to publishing high-level, impactful research while still striving to arm and educate a conscious and knowledgeable generation.

As the president of Cihan University -Erbil, I would want to use this opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation to the professors and researchers and to reiterate our commitment to supporting their continuing scientific development.
